N.S. was an O'Fallon resident facing his second DWI arrest. The police officer claimed that N.S. failed field sobriety tests. The police officer obtained a warrant to draw the blood of N.S., and the test results showed a blood alcohol content of .12 and .10.

J.G., a Troy resident, faced his first DWI arrest after leaving a party where most people at the outdoor party were drinking. The police officer claimed J.G. failed field sobriety tests, and at the request of the police officer, J.G. blew into a breathalyzer machine, which gave a BAC of .11.

J.G., a Warrenton resident, was pulled over for speeding outside of Warrenton. The police officer detained J.G. for sometime in hopes of finding a way to search his car. The police officer resorted to techniques declared illegal by the Missouri and the United States Supreme Court, and in doing so tricked J.G. into allowing a search of his car. The search revealed over 50 grams of methamphetamine. J.G. was charged with multiple felony counts related to the manufacturing and selling of methamphetamine. Mr. Brengle filed a Motion to Suppress, and showed the presiding judge that the law required the suppression of all evidence against J.G..
